Crafted in Japan using the traditional Shippo-yaki (七宝焼) cloisonné enamel technique, this radiant cherry blossom box was originally filled with konpeitō — tiny star-shaped candies symbolizing celebration and affection.

Made by Saikosha, a maker known for elegant seasonal enamelware, the piece is finished in soft shades of silvery pink with hand-enameled cherry blossoms in full bloom. The luster and texture come from the layered vitreous glaze applied over metal — a hallmark of high-quality Japanese cloisonné.

This collectible is rare to find in the U.S., especially in such pristine condition with its original ceramic inner dish and branded paper inserts still intact. It’s a stunning little heirloom — perfect as a jewelry keeper, gift box, or objet d’art for your vanity or shelf.
