This richly detailed, hand-hammered copper wall plate features an elaborate petaled mandala motif etched into warm, patinated metal. Each petal holds its own swirling, ornamental story—textural, abstract, and organic—like henna on hammered copper. With its scalloped rim and warm tone, it’s both rustic and refined.
Likely Turkish or Moroccan in origin, and dating to the 1950s–70s, this piece was made for wall display (a wire hanger is attached to the reverse), but it also reads beautifully styled on a shelf or leaned against a kitchen backsplash. A striking, soulful piece of vintage global design.
A perfect gift for the collector of artisan metalwork, or a warm accent for Southwest, boho, or California eclectic interiors.
