Originally designed as a sponge or soap holder—complete with three drainage holes in the bottom and two more on the sides of the base so it drains while sitting on a surface—its shallow, low-profile shape also makes it perfect for mame bonsai (the tiniest of bonsai, under 4” tall) or a moss accent planting.
